JoEllen, may God bless you abundantly for your loving and caring heart. We adopted Rex a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with him immediately. At least I did, it took Frank another day because he was not sure about such a large dog. He is so much more than we expected. We have never had a great dane before although we both have been blessed to have grown up with dogs. He is loving, obedient, intelligent and a complete joy. He is prefect for our family. We would recommend a great dane to anyone who has the time to give and receive love and affection from God's gentle giant, and does not mind smiling all the time. For anyone reading this message, I want to give the highest recommendation possible to JoEllen and the texasgreatdane organization. They truly have a heart for the dogs they rescue and show them love, affection, attention, and provide medical care when needed. I was somewhat concerned about adopting a dog that might have social or personality problems but JoEllen is excellent at knowing the dogs temperament and will try to fit the right dog with the right home. Thanks for increasing our family by one big happy, loving, warm, gentle giant. Rebecca
