Giovanna or "G" as she is refered to by those who love her is a VERY special lady! She was delivered to the rescue just 8 days before she delivered her own brood... Of 14 little ones!

She is aproximatly 3 years old, and though her surrendering owner reported she was an "outside dog" she has taken to being an inside, treasured member of the family, like a duck to a pond! She was quickly crate trained and has proven to be house broken. We have taught her a few commands and she responds readily. She is calm and laid back in most circumstances, though she does not appreciate thunderstorms. She does walk well on a leash with very little prompting required and bonds strongly with her caretaker. She enjoys laying in the bed, taking leisurely walks, carrying stuffed toys around in her mouth, going for car rides, and chewing on rawhide rolls!

She is dog friendly regardless of size or gender, cat safe, and does not bother my horses or goats when we are outside for a walk!!
