Poor Perry – it was not his first trip to animal control….  They knew who his parents were and they called them and called them and they never came to pick him up.  They did not want him anymore – which probably for Perry is a godsend – they did not keep him in a safe environment nor did they take care of him – poor Perry is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue’s vet as soon as he has completed his pre-treatment protocol.  This trip to the pound actually saved Perry’s life!    Perry is a 6 yr old Beagle that is a real lazy bones and a complete sweetheart!  He gets along great with the other dogs and enjoys snoozing on the dog bed.  If you want some quiet laidback company – Perry would be a perfect roommate!  Perry is neutered and current on all vaccinations.  His adoption fee is $150.00 and you can fill out an application online at WWW.texasgreatdane.org
