Ralphie languished in the Kileen kill shelters adoption area and he was quickly running out of time when we agreed to take him.  He is a happy little guy as long as you do not grab his collar.  We actually see this behavior a lot and the only thing we can think of is they are grabbed in anger and abused or beat and have horrific flashbacks when their collars are grabbed.  So he gets picked up and carried when I want to move him from point a to b!  He does not mind that at all.  Ralphie loves to play with the other dogs – is a relatively quiet guy for a hound mix!   We think he is about 2-3 yrs old,  He will make a wonderful dog for a quiet family and he is pretty low maintenance, too!
