Lola unfortunately found herself turned into the San Antonio kill shelter as a stray.  A very skinny sweet girl is what we found when we went down to get her out.  Lola is one of the sweetest, calmest and quietest Danes we have had in a long time.  About 18 months old – she fit into the group without any problems and would do well in a family with children and other pets – or she would do well as a spoiled only dog, too!!!   Lola has started to eat really well now and has been gradually putting on weight – we look forward to the day when we do not see any ribs!
