Bessie was in horrible shape when she was found and taken to the Animal Control Facility.  With no hope of getting adopted our group agreed to take her in.  Bessie is a 2 yr old Basset Hound.  She does well with other dogs – was a little fearful of people when we first got her but she has settled in quite well.  We are almost done with her meds and she should have a pretty uneventful life now!!
