Uvalde is a survivor!!  This poor dog came to our group skin and bones and heartworm positive.  We were his last hope….when we got him – we thought he was 6-7 by the condition he was in.   As he filled out and felt 100% better – he is extremely playful so we revised his age to 5 ish.   Uvalde just had a bout with bloat and as we rushed him to the vet we knew his chances of surviving were slim.  5 days later he is back home with us a happy smiling dog!  Truly incredible that this dog had survived living on the road for so long without food – he is one of the few Danes that lives through bloating.  With his stomach now tucked – he is ready for a chance to have a family of his own and show you how much love he has to give!!!!!!!!!!!!
